Projekt „ATME – Bedarfslagen, Bedürfnisse und sektorenübergreifende Versorgungsverläufe außerklinisch beatmeter Intensivpatienten“
Die Bedeutung der außerklinischen Intensivpflege ist in den letzten Jahren kontinuierlich gestiegen. Über 20.000 Personen in Deutschland habem Intensivpflegebedarf. Ziel des Projektes ist es, Versorgungsstrukturen und Krankheitsverläufe von außerklinisch beatmeten Patientinnen und Patienten mit Intensivpflegebedarf zu analysieren und Empfehlungen für eine bedarfs- und bedürfnisgerechte Weiterentwicklung der Versorgung zu entwickeln.

Beatmung in neurologischen Organisationseinheiten in Deutschland
In einer Fragebogenerhebung wurde unter Schirmherrschaft der DIGAB die Beatmung in neurologischen Organisationseinheiten in Deutschland untersucht. Ein Optimierungspotential in der Versorgung außerklinisch beatmeter Patienten wurde beschrieben. Die Ergebnisse wurden erfolgreich publiziert:
Projekt „Außerklinische Versorgung beatmeter Patienten in Deutschland“
Die Deutsche Interdisziplinäre Gesellschaft für Außerklinische Beatmung (DIGAB) e.V. führte vom 20. Oktober 2014 bis Ende 2015 eine Studie zur außerklinischen Beatmung durch. Mit Hilfe eines Erhebungsbogens sollte die ärztliche Versorgung der außerklinisch beatmeten Patienten in Deutschland analysiert werden. Leiter der nun beendeten Studie waren die beiden DIGAB-Vorstandsmitglieder Prof. Dr. med. Jan H. Storre und PD Dr. med. Dominic Dellweg.
Die Ergebnisse wurden auf dem DGP Kongress präsentiert. und veröffentlicht unter in Pneumologie 2017; 71(S 01): S1-S125
